GOALS

SCOPE of work

Kensey had an established manual osteopath practice in Alberta, but was looking for help in building out her new venture - a collaborative wellness centre bringing a variety of modalities and practioners under one roof. She was looking for advice and guidance on the making the transition, choosing a name, and wanted to start off with a strong brand identity.

ABOUT THE BIZ

Holm Collective is a health and wellness collective that cares for patients holistically and comprehensively by bringing together unique practitioners to collaborate in a calm, nurturing, integrative health experience that uplifts and empowers it's patients.

BRAND GOAL

An approachable but elevated design direction that incorporates organic textures and refined simplicity, balancing softness and sophistication to evoke the sense of sanctuary, calm, wellness, and understated luxury of the Holm experience.

CREATIVE DIRECTION

We wanted to balance softness and sophistication with the Holm brand, giving an elevated feel while still being approachable and grounded to reflect the modalities and holistic styles of the practice. We went with refined typography for the primary logo, adding in a sense of movement with the spliced and dropped 'O'.

LOVE FOR THE LOGOMARK

For the logomark, we drew inspiration from the smoothness of river rock and the delicate art of balancing stones —symbolizing harmony, stability, and the collaborative spirit of the brand. The form gives us more organic lines to contrast the primary, while subtly reflecting a human figure, giving us a versatile brand element to use with or without the logo and add depth to the brand overall.

KIND WORDS

“I originally reached out to Millson + Main because I needed some fresh eyes for my new brand and thought her design vision was rockstar. What surprised me most about the whole process was how seamless it went. Meaghan was approachable, the process was easy, and I got the much needed clarity to my business. She perfectly captured the feeling I was wanting the brand to embody and made it so easy to carry that throughout the brick and mortar space.”
